VM is a simple, highly effective meditation technique perfect for the busy modern mind. The methodology is scientifically validated and it is simple to learn - no need to shut down your thoughts, you simply learn to keep them in the background during your meditation time.
This results in numerous benefits:
- Allowing the body to reach a deep state of rest and revival
- Builds our adaptation energy to deal with stressors more easily
- Unlocks and assists the release of old, deeply buried stressors within our nervous system whilst making us more resistant to new stressors
VM has the added benefit over other meditation styles in that you don’t just feel a deep sense of peace and calm during the time you are meditating, but your “eyes open” experience in your life will transform as well. Over time as old stress is released, you experience life as full and rich with greater patience, compassion and insight permeating all your interactions with others. The “adaptation energy” is all about our resistance to fatigue and stress and this increases with regular practice of VM.
The courses are over 4 short sessions which must be done in succession. At the end of the 4 sessions, you are an independent meditator, armed with a technique that will serve you the rest of your life. But should you need any ongoing support or wish to re-sit the course at any time this is included in your initial, one-off investment.
There are regular free information sessions on Monday evenings that you can attend as often as you like until you are ready to take the plunge.
